Carrie's Story...
Sorry I've been so sporadic with the posting lately...I've got to get back into my blogging groove. This week was especially busy. I am speaking at Vineyard Westside this weekend and I was also creating another video story for the Everyone's got a story project. I think I'm going to call them Photojournalist Tellings...yeah...that sounds good. Many of you know Carrie, our wonderful housemate who is a tremendously talented writer whose perfectionism causes her to not write...we're trying to get her over that. This is her story.
It was a blast to compose. YouTube is such stinky quality, but here's an idea of what it will look like:

8 waggish utterances thus far...:
Carrie rocks!
Awesome! It amazes me how many stories that I know (including my own) that have reached a point at which death seemed a more appealing option than life.
Carrie quotes one of my favorite Natalie Grant songs - "You're turning the tattered fabric of my life into a perfect tapestry"... woohoo!
I had to stifle tears today. The message was so meaningful and sincere. Thank you Ryan. And thank you Carrie, for sharing your story.
good stuff this weekend. good job talking ryan. (you talk every day though... right?)
the video and teaching was very good this weekend.
It's her perfectionism causes her to not write? My goodnesses, she needs to read more of my blogs. It will suck the perfectionism right out of her.
Wow, that video was really touching. Please tell Carrie that someone else on the internet thinks she is an amazing and gifted writer, and such a very special person. I hope that she shares her voice with a wider audience one day. Her testimony also made me really want to join your church, but I'm in a totally different part of the country!
thank you. that was wonderful
